Dear FCI, please get AC fixed ASAP. It was 85 degrees inthe class room today, which made for a very unpleasant baking experience & a cranky Jennarator. I guess if you can’t stand the heat….
Well dear friends, May is approaching which means only one thing — bar crawl. That’s right May 15th is the UES bar crawl. My friends and I will be sporting mullets and moustaches. Why? Because I like to look around a room and be surrounded by the stache. If you want to join us, it will be fun times aplenty. Last year was kind of a disaster (in a good way). We not messing around this year, it’s straight to the Big Easy (shuddup) for some good old fashioned afternoon flip cup.
May also marks the beginning of kickball season. I think some boys are still needed in the league. come and cheer for the Helmets, cause we’re going to go all the way to the top.
A few years ago, I started the alphabet game and it has now turned into a life ambition. It’s 2004 and I am stepping the game up into high gear. I have an embarassing 12 letters left. To my credit, they are the more difficult ones and I was stalled for 2 years. So, for those of you who know the game, please help me accomplish my goal; for those of you who don’t know, I’ll tell you about it over a drink and maybe you could lend a hand. Still needed: F, H, I, L, O, P, Q, U, V, X, Y & Z.
Presley is coming into town at the end of the month & I can’t wait to see her sweet sweet behind. (When are you and Neddy moving here, anyway?)
Y’all can look forward to seeing a hot redhead on my arm come April 30th. Meow!
Tonight I had my Eureka!!! moment at school. After several bouts of caramel burns, ugly tart doughs and an nasty incident with the cheese grater, I found my niche. Delightful oasis of viennoiserie, more specifically a bread called challah, you have changed my whole outlook on pastry school. It was fun before, but now I am delighted to say making bread is the best thing since, well sliced bread. I was invincible tonight, the tin foil didn’t dare cut me, the oven refused to burn me. My challah was gorgeous. I love kneading and watching the bread rise. I feel like Curby when he discovered dentistry. I am not a pastry school misfit. Well, maybe….
Anyway, congrats to Anna and Deron. I got unbelievable drunk at their after-wedding party and threw up in the cab coming home (sorry brooklyn cab co). Also, congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Pio Sanchez on their engagement!!! Love is in the air, and me without a prom date. Sigh.
Look out, New York, Ms. Brookowsky R Brookington is coming to town. Anyone around this weekend? My very good friend from PA will be here and I dare you to drink more than her — yeah that’s a challenge! So, call or email me if you want to hang out and show her a really fun time with me.
I promise I’ll write more often!!!
