It’s been a while since my last post, I’ve been busy trying to get a new car. I heard from a guy that runs a site all about Chocolate beer. It’s really cool, he not only reviews beer but he also has a ton of recipes on how make your very own chocolate beer. Check it out and if you brew any, don’t forget your pal Jenna.

I found a link to this chocolate company in Santa Fe, Kakawa Chocolates, which specializes in making old school recipes of chocolates. I’m talking ancient school. I think it’s a cool idea and the website has a ton of chocofacts.
Well, they are finally taking approved to be an organic facility and if you want to read all about how Vosges (and you) are helping the environment, click to read all about their green initiative.
Today’s the day you’ve all been anxiously awaiting; the live launch of Delish.com!! And more importantly, my blog on it. Check it out, read my thoughts on Ace of Cakes and live forever!!!!!!!!
I’m ridiculous, I know. This was from the day at the Astoria Beer Gardens, which was filled with brats ‘n beer. Thought this would be a good Friday post, just looking forward to the weekend and am thankful that I’m not this guy. I didn’t realize that they publicly executed the Chinese dude in charge of food safety. I’m sure the same fate is in store for the guy in charge of the lethal baby formulas. Yikes.
I was just thinking about The Go-Nuts, the self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Super Hero Snak Rock&Gorilla Revue,” and wondered if me and Mikey were the only 2 people who listened to them? I think that more bands should sing about snacking and food in general. Let’s see if I can come up with a Food Playlist:
Ice Cream, Sarah McLachlan
Nutrition, Dead Milkmen
Cinnamon Girl, Neil Young
I Want Candy, Bow Wow Wow
Sugar Sugar, the Archies
Cherry Pie, Warrent
This is tough, help me out. Isn’t there some song about a Candy Shop and licking things? Why aren’t there more songs about hotdogs?
My site is under a bit of construction at the moment, please excuse the mess while me & mostly Neddy clean it up. Also, I did something I never do — I altered previously published content. Someone thought I was a little mean and certainly that wasn’t my intent, so I changed it. I’m a softy, what can I say? The last thing is my header photo…Ned & I seem to have some creative differences about it. I think I look like a douchette in every photo, maybe I should just stick to pictures of hotdogs.
Hello all, sorry for being so negligent in writing. Well, I have finished with the FCI and am baking full time at Balducci’s. In fact, I’m the only baker there, yikes!
Since my last entry, two of my plants have departed. Two words: Spider mites. Gross, they entirely covered my ivy with their disgusting little webs. I broke a cardinal rule in hosting house plants: I didn’t quarantine a new plant and because of that, I lost an old favorite that was setting near the host plant. The moral of the story is always keep new plants away from your old ones for a few weeks so you can be sure they aren’t hosting some sort of pest. Here is and interesting article about spider mites (albiet creepy) from Ohio State.
